The Boker Plus Cataclyst is a handsome streamlined knife whose design meant that the blade could only engage with the use of a “flipper”…until now! Here at Heinnie Haynes® we decided that this beautifully designed, slimline, modern folder deserved the Heinnie® treatment and so was born the Catalyst Heinnie® Edition, without a “flipper”, non-locking, sub three inch blade and UK legal carry.
The Heinnie® Edition has got rid of the “flipper” thus improving the smooth lines and instead relies on the jimping on the back of the blade to push the blade open with the thumb utilising the “Tilt Opening System.” Impress your mates and challenge them with the question, “How do you open this then?” when there is no discernable means of blade engagement!
The sturdy blade of satin-finished 440C has a flat grind and a groove on both sides. The straight-lined design is supplied with a textured handle scale made of Heinnie® red G10, which is milled three-dimensionally and has a weight-reducing recess on the inside.
