The blade on a Fallkniven knife is what sets it apart from the norm. The Fallkniven F1 Survival CoS blade uses a laminate steel with sandwich. On the outer is 420J2 stainless which is a low-carbon high chromium alloy steel used due of its strength and virtually corrosion-free properties. The core inner is a newly developed Cobalt Special Steel (CoS) which is capable of an extraordinarily sharp edge. Plus it is protected by the stronger outer layers. It is the perfect knife blade set-up.
